Job summary

Autism Care Partners' ACP Early Intervention division is seeking a Center-based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the Bronx to join a passionate team serving children aged 0-3 and their families. You will be supervised by a Licensed OT, deliver therapy services, assess equipment, document progress, and participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other special needs.
• Understanding of and ability to follow agency policies and procedures.
• Flexibility and adaptability in scheduling and service delivery.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Physical ability to assist and lift children as needed (20–50 lbs).
• Active NY State OT registration / licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Render Occupational Therapy services to Children 0-3 with an IFSP.
• Evaluate, instruct and monitor functional exercise programs to increase strength, ROM and upper-extremity function.
• Assess use of activities of daily living (ADL) equipment.
• Work on sensory integration skills.
• Document progress on session reports.
• Document progress on quarterly progress reports.
