Job summary

Matrix Behavior Solutions, LLC seeks a Behavior Health Technician (BHT-ABA) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents in a center-based program. The role may include some home, community, or school visits while maintaining full-time status.

You will collaborate with BC-ABA/BCBA teams, deliver interventions, document progress, and ensure Medicaid/Medicare compliance.

Qualifications

• Certification as BCaBA is required.
• Certification as an RBT is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 40-hour RBT training evidenced by trainer name on certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health services.
• PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, FBI Clearances and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face behavioral interventions following Individualized Treatment Plans.
• Deliver interventions in center-based settings; may include hours at home, in the community, or at school.
• Provide positive reinforcement with guided feedback to families.
• Apply consequences for inappropriate actions as agreed.
• Communicate with peers/BC-ABA/BCBA to implement treatment programs (including VB-MAPP).
• Complete electronic billing per company policies.

Qualifications

• Have a certification as a BCaBA.
• Have a certification as an RBT.
• Have a bachelor's degree and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task list as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
