Center-Based Child Autism Specialist - WE Train YOU at Centria Autism in Beaverton, OR. This role involves working one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; you will receive comprehensive training. You should be patient, compassionate, and enjoy teamwork.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team members to support each child’s development.
• Be patient and compassionate in interactions with children and families.
