Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Center Based Behavior Technician in Islandia, NY. The role supports ABA therapy, collects data, and collaborates with BCBA supervisors to implement plans in a center setting. You must pursue or maintain RBT credentials within 90 days and adapt to a data-driven environment.

Hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm with comprehensive benefits and a focus on safety, confidentiality, and professional growth in a fast-paced, child-centered program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months ABA experience working with children or adolescents in a supervised setting.
• Experience managing challenging behaviors is preferred.
• Enrollment or completion of a relevant degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Clinical Supervisors and BCBAs to implement ABA teaching procedures.
• Collect behavior and skill data during sessions and document progress.
• Acquire and maintain RBT credential within the first 90 days.
• Use electronic platform for data collection and graphing.
• Implement Behavior Support Plans and ensure a safe environment.
