Job summary

Family of Kidz in Islandia, NY is seeking a Center-Based ABA Therapist/RBT for a full-time role. You will work with Clinical Supervisors to implement ABA teaching procedures and collect data during sessions, while supporting a safe, confidential environment.

You must work toward obtaining or maintaining BACB RBT credential within 90 days and engage with families and learners to promote skill acquisition. The position offers comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months ABA experience with children or adolescents
• Experience working with challenging behaviors preferred
• Enrollment or completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in psychology, education, ABA, or related field a plus

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Clinical Supervisors and BCBAs to implement ABA teaching procedures
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
• Acquire and maintain RBT credential within 90 days of employment
• Use electronic platform for data collection and graphing
• Implement Behavior Support Plans/Behavior Intervention Plans as directed
• Safely manage learners including physical crisis intervention protocols
• Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Understand and demonstrate the company core values
