Job summary

ABA Insight seeks Behavior Technicians for center-based ABA therapy in the Lansing area. Starting pay is $19.00/hour with no experience, higher with relevant background. Hours Mon-Fri 8-4, minimum 10 hours per week.

You will provide one-on-one interventions to teach communication and social skills in home, school, and community settings under a supervising BCBA. No prior ABA training? We will train you and support credential attainment, with opportunities to grow within the field toward advanced

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• Must pass background check, Recipient Rights background check and TB test.
• Must complete online RBT modules, CPR and Fingerprinting.
• Must complete company trainings after employment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to drive within a 30-mile radius for client treatment.

Responsibilities

• Establish therapeutic relationship with clients to promote learning.
• Follow treatment plan and seek consultation.
• Prompt safe, replacement behaviors to build communication and social skills.
• Fade prompts to promote independent responding.
• Collect behavior data (A-B-C, frequency, duration, etc.).
• Collaborate with family and treatment team to deliver effective care.
• Educate key caregivers about treatment.
• Complete assessments and report progress to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
