Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking an multitask assistant to support center operations under Head Start and licensing standards. You will assist teachers, greet visitors, and help with meal prep and custodial tasks, while contributing to a safe, nurturing learning environment.

The role involves clerical duties, bus and playground supervision, and collaboration with staff and families to support program services across Oregon.

Qualifications

• Six months experience working within a variety of responsibilities to include working with young children, cooking in a restaurant, or cleaning in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors in person or on the phone and directing inquiries.
• Perform clerical duties including data entry, reports, filing, and copying documents.
• Assist the teacher with a balance of child-directed and teacher-directed activities.
