Job summary

YMCA in Providence, RI seeks a Center Administrator to launch and oversee a new early learning center, guiding staffing, curriculum, and daily operations with RI DHS compliance and RIELDS alignment.

You will recruit and supervise teachers, build partnerships with Providence Housing Authority and community partners, and create an inclusive, bilingual environment serving up to 42 children.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and launching early childhood programs and start-up operations.
• Strong project management with ability to lead multi-tasking and deadlines.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of early childhood educators and support staff.
• Ensure licensing compliance, curriculum alignment with RI DHS and RIELDS, and quality of program operations.
• Develop and manage program budgets, supplier relationships, and center logistics.
