Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Establish warm, professional rapport with children and families.
  • Maintain health and safety standards in the classroom.
  • Develop standards-based curriculum aligned with RI RIELDS.
  • Maintain attendance records and CACFP meal tracking when applicable.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the classroom and shared spaces.
  • Provide support to the Teacher Assistant and supervise appropriately.
  • Observe and document progress using authentic assessment tools.
  • Submit lesson plans according to the annual schedule.
  • Engage in family engagements and mandatory staff meetings.
  • Create a yearly Professional Development Plan with 20 hours of training.
