Job summary

Long Term Care Facility in Collingdale, PA seeks an experienced Admissions Director to drive census and referral goals. You will oversee the admissions process, coordinate with the facility's marketing team, and lead daily meetings to optimize conversions from referrals.

You will build strong relationships with hospitals and care providers, verify admissions details, and guide families through tours and financial discussions to ensure a smooth transition for residents.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of admissions management experience in LTC, subacute rehab, or healthcare.
• Proven ability to develop referrals from hospitals, physicians, case managers and other partners.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, documentation and follow-up.
• Excellent telephone communication and ability to manage referral calls efficiently.
• Experience working with residents, families, referral sources and healthcare professionals.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills for tours and communicating value of services.
• Inside or outside sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with computers and CRM marketing/relationship systems.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and healthcare reimbursement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, census-driven environment and meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Facility Administrator.
• Achieve admission and referral goals through the marketing action plan.
• Meet or exceed census and payer-mix goals.
• Obtain and review referral information for admission committee approval.
• Ensure financial verification is accurate before admission.
• Secure family commitments to tour the facility.
• Conduct tours and address questions with clinical staff.
• Coach staff on admissions process compliance.
• Manage admission paperwork and ensure a smooth transition for residents.
• Communicate financial arrangements and responsibilities.
• Lead daily admissions meetings to review referrals and strategies.
• Follow up on referrals to maximize conversions.
• Notify Marketing Director of issues with referrals or processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers and local providers.
• Participate in community outreach to strengthen referral network.
