Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience operating standard equipment.
• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment (shovel, rake, etc.).
• Ability to operate heavy mechanical equipment (dump truck, backhoe, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performs openings and closings for burials, entombments, and inurnments.
• Sets, installs, and assembles foundations, memorials, and markers.
• Installs outer burial containers.
• Handles and completes work orders for grave and marker maintenance.
• Responds to service requests from client families.
• Conducts Interment Verification Procedures.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area; follows safety rules.
