You will assist with openings and closings for interments and ensure the cemetery grounds are safe and presentable for services.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
• Ability to operate hand-held tools (shovel, rake, etc.) and basic equipment.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 150 lbs with assistance and pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs.
• Strong communication and ability to work with families and associates.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Moves flowers and prepares graves and chapel areas for services.
• Operates equipment for grave-related tasks under supervision.
• Maintains and repairs cemetery features and associated machinery.
• Observe safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
