Job summary

Service Corporation International in Centerville, OH is seeking a full-time Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain lawns, perform groundskeeping tasks at the cemetery, mausoleum or funeral home locations, and assist with grave openings and closings. Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment (shovel, rake, mower, etc.).
• Basic computer skills to enable email communications.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees and memorial markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways, snow removal as needed.
• Erects tents and arranges chairs for graveside ceremonies.
• Assists with openings/closings for interments and entombments.
• Maintains and repairs cemetery features and gear.
• Observes safety rules and complies with OSHA and local regulations.
