Service Corporation International is seeking an entry-level groundskeeper at a cemetery or funeral home location in Roanoke, VA. You’ll maintain lawns, flower beds, and walkways, operate basic grounds equipment, and support openings and closings for interments.

You must be able to work outdoors in all weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow safety procedures. Prior landscaping or cemetery work is helpful though not required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant landscaping or physical labor experience.
• Funeral industry experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Mows grass, waters lawns, trims shrubs, and maintains flower beds.
• Operates lawn care equipment and snow removal tools.
• Assists in openings/closings for interments and grave layout.
• Keeps grounds clean and safe for visitors.
• Follows safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
• May perform minor repairs and assist with cremations under supervision.
