Job summary

Park Lawn Memorial Group, LLC. is seeking a cemetery grounds supervisor to oversee the care, safety, and appearance of our memorial property.

The role includes supervising the grounds crew, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and coordinating memorialization work onsite. The ideal candidate has a four-year degree or equivalent and at least five years of cemetery grounds experience, with a valid driver's license and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years cemetery grounds experience is strongly preferred
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing
• Ability to read, write, and speak English. Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe outdoor work environment by training the grounds crew the proper use of all equipment and compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Oversees the family wishes and company policies in physical components of memorialization, up to site prep for services.
• Manages grounds crew, ensuring proper dress code and professional appearance.
• Documents employee performance and disciplinary issues, and coordinates action with local management.
• Maintains inventory logs including equipment, supplies, merchandise and safety equipment.
• Cares for cemetery grounds including headstones, memorials, vaults, mulching, and pruning.
