Job summary

Polk Memorial Garden & Chapel Mausoleum in Columbia, TN seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure safe, orderly grounds and the proper care of cemetery property. You will lead the grounds crew, enforce dress and safety standards, and coordinate site preparations for services.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years cemetery grounds experience is strongly preferred
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working environment by training crew and ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Oversee memorialization site preparation and care of cemetery grounds.
• Direct grounds crew, enforce dress code and professional appearance.
• Document employee performance and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain inventory logs for equipment, supplies, safety gear.
• Perform other duties as assigned and support team.
