Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper in Travelers Rest, SC. This role ensures the care, maintenance, and safety of the cemetery property and visitors, including grounds upkeep and support for funeral services.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of maintenance experience, with the ability to operate equipment and lift up to 80 lbs. Availability for holidays, evenings, and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance such as weed-whacking and lawn mowing.
• Maintain and operate maintenance equipment and vehicles.
• Handle funeral services-related tasks as part of the grounds crew.
• Operate machinery safely and within regulations.
• Assist in installing cemetery vaults and memorials as needed.
• Carry out day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of grounds.
• Perform snow removal if applicable and required.
• Fulfill other duties assigned by Grounds Superintendent.
