Job summary

SCI is seeking a Cemetery Maintenance Associate in San Diego, CA to perform openings and closings for burials, install memorials and markers, and carry out foundation work with care and safety. You will respond to service requests and maintain grounds and equipment.

The role requires a high school degree, six months’ experience with standard equipment, and a valid driving record. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Education: High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of six (6) months experience operating standard equipment.
• Licenses: Acceptable driving record and license(s) to operate equipment/vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performs openings & closings for burials, entombments and inurnments.
• Sets, installs, and assembles foundations, memorials, and markers.
• Installs outer burial containers.
• Follows client family requests for grave and marker maintenance as directed.
