Job summary

Everstory Partners in Jackson, TN is seeking a Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain and care for cemetery grounds, assist with funeral services, and ensure safety for staff and visitors. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail.

You will operate maintenance equipment, perform lawn care, install headstones when needed, and support snow removal and daily maintenance tasks under the Grounds Superintendent.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos/directives from supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance duties (weed-whacking, mowing, etc.).
• Maintain equipment.
• Support funeral services and cemetery operations.
• Operate machinery safely.
• Install cemetery vaults and headstones as needed.
• Handle day-to-day grounds maintenance tasks.
• Assist with snow removal when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.
