Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, assist in funeral services, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for visitors. The role emphasizes careful attention to detail, physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs, and reliable equipment operation.

The position demands adherence to safety and service standards, availability for holidays and weekends, and collaboration with the Grounds Superintendent to complete daily tasks and special projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance duties (weed-whacking, lawn mowing, etc.).
• Maintain and operate maintenance equipment.
• Handle duties related to funeral services as needed.
• Operate machinery safely and correctly.
• Install cemetery vaults and headstones as required.
• Manage day-to-day general maintenance tasks.
• Assist with snow removal when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Grounds Superintendent.
