Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a cemetery maintenance associate to perform openings and closings for burials, install memorials, and complete service requests while ensuring a clean, safe work environment. The role requires operating a range of hand tools and heavy machinery with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, at least six months’ experience with standard equipment, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs openings & closings for burials, entombments and inurnments.
• Sets, installs, and assembles foundations, memorials, and markers.
• Installs outer burial containers.
• Handles and completes work orders from client families for grave/marker maintenance.
• Responds to and completes service requests; conducts Interment Verification Procedures.
• Performs 25 foot radius preparation for burials and maintains clean, neat areas.
