Job summary

Rose Hills in Whittier, CA is seeking a Landscape & Irrigation Technician to care for and renovate landscaped areas, assist with cemetery openings, and maintain gravesites and mausoleums according to company policies. You will work with hand and power tools, apply fertilizers and manage irrigation systems from valve box to sprinkler head, reporting issues to management.

The role requires landscaping experience, a valid CA driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, general construction, warehouse, or physical labor.
• Valid CA Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for and renovate landscaped areas using hand and power tools.
• Maintain irrigation systems from valve box to sprinkler head and report issues.
• Assist with opening/closing cemetery properties when needed.
• Operate trucks and equipment with proper training and authorization.
• Report observations to management for resolution.
