Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and memorial markers; lays sod; moves flowers to graveside.
• Clears debris; maintains drives and walkways; may require snow removal.
• Erects tents and arranges chairs for graveside ceremonies.
• Assists with openings/closings for interments and entombments.
• Arranges chapel for services.
• Prepares crypts for entombments.
• Under supervision, may operate backhoe to dig graves.
• Installs grave markers and crypt faces.
• Maintains and repairs cemetery markers and features.
• Maintains, services, cleans and stores equipment.
• General vehicle maintenance.
• Cleans and maintains facilities; performs minor repairs and painting.
• Follows safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
