Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways; may require snow removal.
• Erects tents, canopies and arranges chairs for graveside ceremony.
• Assists with setup for openings and closings for interments and entombments.
• Arranges chapel for services and prepares crypts for entombments.
• Under supervision, may operate backhoe to dig graves without damaging vaults or monuments.
• Installs grave markers, bronze memorials, crypt faces, etc.
• Maintains and repairs cemetery features and markers.
• Maintains, services, cleans and stores equipment.
• General maintenance of vehicles and facility including minor repairs and painting.
• Observe safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
