Job summary

Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services (CFCS) in the Diocese of Youngstown Cemeteries is seeking a senior management role to oversee Family Environment Specialists who maintain the cemetery grounds and facilities. You will lead process development to streamline operations and enhance safety across multiple locations and assist in capital planning and project execution.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, and/or 5 years working as a grounds keeper or landscaper.
• 2-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment and using power/hand tools.
• 1-2 year supervisory experience
• Safety-oriented mindset
• Experience developing procedures
• Ability to perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Strong Organization
• Excellent Computer Skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of Family Environment Specialists who maintain the Diocesan cemetery grounds and facilities
• Develop and maintaining processes and procedures streamlining operational efficiencies and improving safety across all cemetery location
• Act as project manager and assist in Capital Planning and project execution
