Job summary

WACKER is seeking a motivated LNB Technical Intern to join our Allentown, PA team. The role focuses on evaluating physical properties of cementitious mortars and exploring interactions of inorganic and organic chemistries, with hands-on testing under ASTM/ANSI/ISO standards.

You'll gain experience with DOE design of experiments, baselining raw materials, and exposure to other technical projects within the Technical group, while learning how WACKER brings innovative solutions to real-world

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior
• General chemical laboratory background preferred
• Hands-on experience with construction, specifically cementitious mortars, preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work independently in a laboratory

Responsibilities

• Evaluate physical properties of cementitious mortars per ASTM/ANSI/ISO testing standards
• Perform design of experiments (DOE) and baselining of raw materials
• Collaborate with the Technical group and learn other ongoing projects
