Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Cement Terminal Team Member to safely handle cement products and support daily terminal operations. You will load/unload bulk cement, operate conveyors, pumps and forklifts, and maintain inventory records in a facility that emphasizes safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prefer experience in industrial or warehouse environments.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy equipment, or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload bulk cement from trucks, railcars, and silos.
• Operate terminal equipment including conveyors, pumps, compressors, forklifts, skid steers, and other material-handling equipment.
• Monitor product flow and storage levels to ensure efficient operations.
• Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and activities.
