Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. is seeking a Cement Engineer to monitor cement blend performance, design testing procedures, and ensure cement blends meet required specifications. The role requires strong analytical skills, teamwork, and good communication with customers and vendors.

You will plan laboratory operations, evaluate costs, and collaborate with Cement Laboratory and leadership on new projects while maintaining HSE compliance and Safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in cement or chemical engineering is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Strong analytical and collaborative mindset; data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cement blend performance and adjust as needed.
• Analyze failure data and lab results to troubleshoot blends.
• Design and direct testing of cement blend processing procedures.
• Design QA tests for raw materials and cement blends.
• Evaluate specs and costs related to product design objectives.
• Design joining methods for materials used in cement blending.
• Review new product plans and advise material selection.
• Plan and run lab operations to meet cost, spec, and performance goals.
• Collaborate with Cement Lab and leadership on new projects.
• Communicate daily with Lab to assign blends for production.
• Coordinate with Cement Coordinators and customers on upcoming jobs.
• Maintain vendor pricing information and relationships.
• Work with Cement Sales to generate RFQs.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies; use PPE.
• Other duties as assigned.
