Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. is seeking a Cement Engineer in Artesia, NM to monitor cement blend performance, design processing procedures, and direct testing and QA activities.

The role requires collaboration with Cement Laboratory Technicians, Coordinators, and customers to ensure blends meet specifications and project goals. The candidate should have a Engineering degree with cement or chemical engineering experience, strong communication, and analytical skills, and be able to work with the sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (Chemical Engineering desired).
• Previous cement or chemical engineering experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with data interpretation ability.
• Personable, professional, and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cement blend performance.
• Analyze product failure data and lab results to troubleshoot issues with cement blends.
• Design and direct testing of cement blend processing procedures.
• Design quality assurance tests for testing raw materials and cement blends.
• Collaborate with Cement Laboratory Technicians, Cement Coordinators, and customers.
• Plan and implement laboratory operations to develop procedures that meet cost, product specification, and performance standards.
• Communicate daily with Cement Laboratory team and with customers about upcoming jobs and cement blends.
• Maintain communication with vendors for pricing information.
