Cemex US is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to ensure products meet quality standards at our Jupiter cement plants. You will perform ASTM, AASHTO, and ACI testing, maintain records, and support the lab and production teams.

The role requires an associate degree or 2+ years cement plant experience, ASTM certification in reach, strong numerical skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic lab-to-plant environment.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in applied science or at least 2 years of cement plant experience.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a quality-related role in the cement or heavy manufacturing industry.
• Strong numerical and testing skills, computer proficiency (including Excel and lab software), attention to detail, understanding of ASTM standards.

Aufgaben

• Follow safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Perform ASTM, AASHTO, and ACI testing at cement and Ready Mix plants.
• Verify product quality against specifications and report deviations.
• Assist with product mix design and understand impact on kiln processes.
• Maintain detailed records of tests and inspections; prepare related reports.
• Provide lab housekeeping and basic equipment maintenance support.
• Train new team members and complete audits, inspections, and reports.
• Respond to callouts and support plant outages as needed.
