Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a QA/QC–aggregate tester to ensure product quality throughout production. You will test aggregates before, during, and after production using a variety of testing devices and procedures, recording results and communicating with QC and Operations teams.

The role requires following QC leads' directions, maintaining safety standards, and performing other duties as assigned in a dynamic lab/plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with higher-level training preferred.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the instruction of the QC Lead and QC Director.
• Collect, weigh, test, and record samples of aggregates using various equipment and devices.
• Perform work according to specification sheets and forward to supervisors as needed.
• Maintain excellent communications with the QC and Operations Teams regarding product quality and standards.
• Meet or exceed company safety standards.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.
