Job summary

Cement Plant Maryneal is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our Maryneal, TX cement manufacturing facility. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and lead mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability initiatives to reduce costs and improve uptime.

You will work with maintenance and operations to plan repairs, support shutdowns, and implement predictive and preventive programs for critical equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Experience in cement, lime, aggregates, mining, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Strong mechanical maintenance and equipment troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience with preventive and/or predictive maintenance programs.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience identifying equipment problems and corrective actions, including shutdowns and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities and corrective maintenance projects.
• Drive efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
• Support and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Plan and coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance activities.
• Assist with planning and execution of plant shutdown repairs.
• Coordinate capital projects and ensure safe, effective completion.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and implement corrective actions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, equipment drawings, and schematics.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and operations to prioritize needs.
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance practices and equipment performance.
