Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Production worker to maintain plant housekeeping and operate equipment to move and unload raw materials, supporting safe, efficient production.

You will operate wheel bucket loaders, dump trucks, street sweepers, Bobcats and forklifts, learn to reclaim or stack materials, and follow all safety rules on site.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; the job is on site in Florida and involves outdoor work and protective equipment use.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Knowledge of forklift and heavy equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel bucket loader, dump truck, supersucker, water truck, and street sweeper.
• Train as Production Assistant.
• Unload raw materials.
• Maintain plant housekeeping to company standards.
• Operate reclaimer/stacker to reclaim or stack raw materials.
• Keep raw material piles pushed up and transport for production.
• Operate Bobcats and forklifts in the plant.
• Follow safety rules and wear protective equipment; meet safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
