Job summary

ProPetro is seeking a Cement Mechanic with experience in regular or diesel mechanic work to maintain and repair equipment used in cement operations on-site in Midland, TX. You will respond to calls, process daily work orders, and monitor engines using DL8 and Alison software to identify needed repairs.

The role requires a valid DL with clean driving record, the ability to work 12+ hour shifts, and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies with proper PPE.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 months of regular or diesel mechanic experience.
• DL8 and Alison software knowledge required.
• Maintain a valid drivers license with clean driving record.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.
• Basic communication and computer skills are required.
• Must provide own tools; service trucks provided for on-site work.
• Freightliner maintenance experience is preferred.
• Team player attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work 12+ hour shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and 25 lbs overhead.
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods, bend, kneel, crawl, and climb equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment used in cement operations (i.e., tractors, cement pumps, bulk trucks, etc.)
• Respond to calls to perform repairs at job location
• Process work orders daily
• Monitors cement equipment to anticipate future maintenance needs
• Use DL8 and Alison software to monitor engines or transmissions for needed repairs
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Qualifications

• Must be able to safely perform required duties during a 12+ hour workday that will include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be physically able safely to lift 50 lbs. and 25 lbs. over head
• Must be physically able to stand or sit for extended periods, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout work shift.
