Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. in Midland, TX is seeking a Cement Mechanic to maintain and repair cement operation equipment, respond to on-site repair calls, and manage daily work orders.

You will monitor engines or transmissions using DL8 and Alison software, follow HSE policies, and work a demanding schedule that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays. The role requires basic computer skills, a valid DL, ability to lift 50 lbs, and Freightliner experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of regular or diesel mechanic experience.
• DL8 and Alison software knowledge is required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and physical.
• Basic communication skills and ability to follow directions.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must provide own tools; service trucks provided for on-site work.
• Freightliner maintenance experience preferred.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work 12+ hour shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and 25 lbs overhead.
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods and climb equipment ladders.

Job Summary

The Cement Mechanic is experienced with regular or diesel mechanic work, maintains and repairs equipment used in cement operations, responds to calls to perform repairs on location, and uses DL8 and Alison software to monitor engines or transmissions for needed repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment used in cement operations (i.e., tractors, cement pumps, bulk trucks, etc.)

• Respond to calls to perform repairs at job location

• Process work orders daily

• Monitors cement equipment to anticipate future maintenance needs

• Use DL8 and Alison software to monitor engines or transmissions for needed repairs

• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Qualifications

• Must be physically able to stand or sit for extended periods, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout work shift.
