Job summary

BrightView seeks a Cement Mason Apprentice to assist the cement mason in executing small-scale landscaping and cement operations. The role involves outdoor work, trenching, form setup, material handling, and using tools to shape concrete, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Candidates should be prepared for physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; Spanish skills are a plus. Union membership is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Experience with or willingness to learn cement and hardscape concepts.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs and able to perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist cement masons with mixing and installing concrete.
• Dig trenches and set up cement forms for sidewalks, mow strips, and planters.
• Move materials and organize job sites.
• Use hand tools to level and shape freshly poured concrete.
• Follow safety procedures and work with the team.
