Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Cement Mason Apprentice to assist in small-scale landscaping and cement operations. You will help masons with mixing, pouring, and installing concrete, and prepare trenches, forms, and surfaces while working outdoors in various weather conditions.

The role requires union membership in good standing and prior landscape or hardscape experience is a plus. Conversational Spanish is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience working outside in all weather conditions.
• Union member in good standing is preferred.
• Conversational Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist cement masons with mixing and installing concrete.
• Dig trenches and set up cement forms for sidewalk replacement, mow strips, and planters.
• Remove materials from overhead racks and transport materials between sites.
• Use tools to level, smooth, and shape freshly poured concrete.
• Practice workplace safety and follow directions.
