The City of New York is seeking a qualified Cement Mason to work in Manhattan from June to October 2025. Responsibilities include preparing and finishing cement and concrete, maintaining safety, and interacting professionally with the public. The role offers vacation and sick leave, plus free membership to recreation centers.
NYC Parks is the steward of over 30,000 acres of land – 14 percent of New York City – including more than 5,000 properties ranging from Coney Island Beach and Central Park to community gardens and Greenstreets. We operate over 800 athletic fields, nearly 1,000 playgrounds, 1,800 basketball courts, 550 tennis courts, 65 pools, 51 recreational facilities, 15 nature centers, 14 golf courses, and 14 miles of beaches. We care for 1,200 monuments and 23 historic house museums. Additionally, we maintain 600,000 street trees and two million in parks. As NYC’s principal providers of recreational and athletic facilities, we host free concerts, sports events, and cultural festivals.
We are seeking a qualified Cement Mason to work in Manhattan from June through October 11, 2025.

Duration: June 2025 to October 11, 2025.
Fees: Hired candidates will be subject to a processing fee of $101.00. Candidates not currently employed by the City will also pay a $101.25 background check fee.
