Job summary

VDart is seeking an experienced device testing engineer with 7+ years in lab and field certifications for wireless products. You will work on 4G/5G networks, VoLTE/VoWiFi, and related protocols, collecting logs from iOS and Android devices and triaging issues for OEMs and chipset vendors.

You will use analytics tools like Tableau or Databricks to visualize findings and communicate complex device issues clearly to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience testing and certifying devices in lab and field environments.
• Strong understanding of wireless call flows and related protocols.
• Hands-on experience logging on iOS and Android devices and triaging logs.

Responsibilities

• Test plan execution for wireless devices in lab and field settings.
• Collect and triage logs; coordinate with OEMs and chipset makers.
• Analyze data and present findings to stakeholders.

Job description

• Good understanding of wireless technologies including 4G, 5G, (SA, NSA, mmwave), VoLTE, VoWiFi, RCS/SMS/MMS network architecture, and protocols.
• 7+ years of device testing & certification experience in lab and in the field.
• Good understanding of call flows over RRC, NAS protocols, throughout scenarios.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience on testing iOS and Android devices, log collection, and log triaging.
• 2+ years of experience in device logging tools like XCAP, XCAL, QXDM etc.
• 2+ years of experience of data analytics or visualization tools such as Tableau, Databricks or other clouds-based data analytics tools.
• Good storyteller on the device issues from lab and field. Able to communicate to the OEM and chipset maker.
