Job summary

Skydio, the US drone leader, is seeking a Cellular Compliance Engineer to own PTCRB and carrier certification testing. You will collaborate with engineering, labs, and operators, and spend substantial time onsite at certification labs to drive tests and resolve issues.

Requirements include a BS/MS in EE or related field, 5+ years in cellular testing, and hands-on PTCRB experience. Occasional travel up to 50% is required, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in EE, wireless or telecom.
• 5+ years in cellular testing or wireless validation.
• Hands-on PTCRB certification experience.
• Experience with major network operators (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile).
• Strong understanding of LTE/5G NR, bands, RF requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and support cellular certification testing (PTCRB and carrier).
• Develop certification plans, test strategies, schedules and configurations.
• Interact with labs to execute test campaigns and troubleshoot failures.
• Provide onsite support during testing, including log collection and issue resolution.
• Track certification status and communicate risks to teams.
