Eagle Wireless, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Certification Specialist to support carrier and regulatory approvals for cellular modules. You will coordinate test programs, manage lab workflows, and troubleshoot issues to keep certifications on schedule.

The role combines hands-on testing with cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, carrier partners, and 3rd‑party labs, with on‑site work and travel as needed. A collaborative environment and strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in wireless device or module test engineering, RF lab engineering, or certification test support.
• Direct experience supporting carrier test programs, or comparable carrier‑lab support work.
• Hands‑on log analysis on cellular protocol traces; able to interpret LTE, 5G NR, and IMS logs and isolate failures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate carrier certification and regulatory testing programs; manage test schedules and samples, track milestones, and ensure documentation is submitted on time.
• Submit applications through carrier portals, monitor status, and manage credentials across AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Bell, Rogers, and PTCRB.
• Serve as on-site technical presence at carrier and 3rd‑party labs during certification campaigns and troubleshoot issues at the lab bench.
• Triage and debug field/test failures; reproduce in lab, collaborate with R&D, and drive root-cause resolution.
• Analyze logs across 5G NR, LTE, IMS, VoLTE, and VoNR using diagnostic tools; perform self-testing per carrier scopes.
• Review and challenge 3rd‑party lab test reports for accuracy and completeness; coordinate re-runs when needed.
• Log defects in Jira and track to fix validation and retest closure; coordinate with labs on quotations and test plans.
