Job summary

Hendler Family Brewing Company is seeking a first or second shift Cellar Operator to join our production team. This role requires prior cellaring experience and offers training on key processes such as operating the GEA Westfalia GSC60, Braukon CIP skid, yeast propagation, and dry hopping.

You will be essential to our brewing operations, collaborating with other departments to uphold QA standards and high-quality production.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of cellar experience in brewing.
• Shift availability: 6:00am–2:00pm or 2:00pm–10:00pm (Mon–Fri).
• Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office.
• Experience with Ekos or inventory software is a plus.
• Strong team player with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Multilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all cellar operations: hop handling, yeast harvesting, beer transfers, dry hopping, CIP cycles, cleaning.
• Ensure beer is produced to QA standards and recipes.
• Interact with multiple departments in production.
• Quality control during fermentation and packaging.
• Maintain records for brewing and cellaring activities.
• Observe safety and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery.
