Job summary

The Planet Group seeks a Process Engineer II in Santa Monica, CA to support process development, optimization, characterization, and continuous improvement activities for cell therapy manufacturing. You will collaborate across Research, Process Development, Manufacturing, MSAT, and Translational Medicine to drive robust processes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on cell culture and aseptic techniques, with a background in biopharmaceutical process development and manufacturing required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cell culture experience.
• Aseptic technique experience.
• Statistical analysis and DOE knowledge.
• Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE).

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on laboratory work supporting process development, optimization, characterization, and process improvement studies.
• Develop and execute process development studies to understand critical operating and performance parameters.
• Support the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for cell therapy products.
• Perform process analysis and trend process performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
