Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Core Technician - Cell Therapy in Houston, TX, to perform aseptic processing and operate production equipment in a GMP environment. You will ensure documentation accuracy, support deviations investigations, and work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Quality, and other teams.

The role requires 1–2 years in cell therapy or related biopharmaceutical manufacturing, strong SOP literacy, and ability to stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in scientific/technical discipline preferred.
• Experience with cell therapy technologies in a cGMP environment preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Participate in aseptic processing and manufacture of cell therapy products.
• Perform aseptic cell culture manipulations in Grade A/B cleanroom environments.
• Operate manufacturing equipment per approved SOPs.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate as needed.
• Complete GMP documentation accurately and timely.
• Review batch records and related GMP documentation.
• Support deviations investigations and safety policies.
