Lonza Group Ltd. in Houston, TX, seeks a Core Technician – Cell Therapy Overnight to support aseptic processing and manufacturing of clinical and commercial products in a GMP environment.

You will operate equipment, complete GMP docs, and collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to meet schedules. The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a preference for an associate degree in a scientific field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in a scientific or technical discipline preferred.
• 1–2 years of cell therapy or related biopharma manufacturing experience in a cGMP environment.
• Working knowledge of aseptic processing and cleanroom operations.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, instructions, and schedules.
• Experience with GMP documentation is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel; SAP and LIMS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in aseptic processing and manufacture of clinical and commercial cell therapy products.
• Perform aseptic cell culture manipulations in Grade A/B cleanrooms.
• Operate cell processing and manufacturing equipment per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate as needed.
• Follow contamination control strategies to maintain GMP compliance.
• Complete GMP documentation accurately and timely.
• Review batch records and related GMP docs as required.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, QC, and site functions to support operations.
