Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking a Core Technician - Cell Therapy to join a GMP manufacturing team on-site. The role involves aseptic processing, operating cell processing equipment, and maintaining compliance with GMP documentation and schedules.

You will work with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to ensure products meet procedures and quality standards. The position is hourly paid and requires a high school diploma with preference for an associate degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a scientific or technical discipline preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience with cell therapy technologies or related biopharmaceutical manufacturing in a cGMP environment.
• Ability to follow SOPs and manufacturing instructions, and read production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Participate in aseptic processing and manufacture of cell therapy products.
• Perform aseptic cell culture manipulations in Grade A/B cleanroom environments.
• Operate processing and manufacturing equipment per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate as needed.
• Follow GMP documentation and review batch records.
