Job summary

AstraZeneca plc in Tarzana, CA, seeks an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations supporting cell therapy manufacturing in a cGMP environment. You will drive reliability, ensure safety and compliance, and manage a team of technicians on a fast‑paced production floor.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in industrial facilities maintenance/leadership experience.
• 4+ years of leadership experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or GMP regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team; ensure safety, quality and performance; conduct daily tier meetings and shift handovers.
• Oversee GMP/FDA compliance; review work orders; enforce CMMS usage; manage preventive and corrective maintenance and calibrations.
• Drive reliability; investigate failures using RCA/FMEA; improve MTBF/MTTR; lifecycle management of assets.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Planner to prioritize work; secure parts/tools; refine job plans; reduce reactive maintenance.
• Enforce SHE policies, conduct safety observations and audits; sustain zero-incident culture.
• Lead or participate in Kaizen and Lean initiatives; remove waste and improve PM efficiency.
• On production floor in a cGMP facility; gowning for cleanrooms; off-shift support as needed.
