Job summary

ImmunityBio, Inc. in San Diego/Torrey Pines, CA, seeks a Research Associate II, Analytical Development, to support adoptive cell therapy projects. You will develop and validate bioassays and assist with analytical method transfer for pipeline products.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related field
Master’s degree with 1+ years in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related field
Experience with immunoassay technologies (CytOf, flow cytometry, HPLC, ELISA, MSD, qPCR) to support cell characterization
Experience with cell therapy products including NK and T cells is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform cell-based assays to support analytical and process development
Maintain cells for various assays
Characterize cells using Mass Cytometry, Flow Cytometry, HPLC, MSD
Develop SOPs, test methods, sampling plans and batch records
Support cross-functional teams to advance cell therapy product development
Design and transfer analytical methods for lead candidates and process improvements
Assist with immunogenicity and biomarker testing
