Job summary

Mann + Hummel, Inc. is seeking a Cell Tech for the 2nd shift in Fayetteville. The role focuses on operating major equipment across production lines, performing complete changeovers, and maintaining equipment through TPM practices.

You will train others after certification and read blueprints to make parts or modifications. The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent with maintenance training or 2–4 years of machine set-up experience, and be proficient with MS Office and shop

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with vocational maintenance training.
• 2-4 years of machine set-up and processing experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer use.
• Must complete New Employee Orientation and Quality Systems Overview training.
• Two-year tech school in industrial maintenance or 3–5 years of experience preferred.
• Works independently, plans own work, and ensures outcomes.
• Owns rolling tool chest with appropriate tools.
• Good work record and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently operate major equipment on multiple lines or cell.
• Complete changeovers of equipment.
• Service equipment via maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, repair, or adjustments.
• Educate others on equipment after certification through central maintenance training.
• Maintain production levels and acceptable scrap as directed.
• Organize and complete scheduled PMs.
• General part replacement and rebuild capability.
• Use of shop equipment as required.
• Instruct and train changeover methods and Total Productive Maintenance.
• Make parts from blueprints.
• Modify and improve equipment independently.
• Diagnose and recommend rebuilds.
• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Preferred completion of a 2 year Tech School Training in Industrial Maintenance or 3 to 5 years of experience
• Works independently in day-to-day activities. Responsible for initial planning and arranging own work and responsible for outcome and closure.
