Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a 2nd shift maintenance technician to operate major equipment on multiple lines, perform complete changeovers, and support TPM-based maintenance to keep production flowing.

Qualified candidates have 2–4 years of machine set-up experience and a high school diploma, plus knowledge of blueprints and basic computer tools. On-site, full-time position with competitive wages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of experience in machine set-up and processing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer use.
• Must complete orientation and quality systems training.
• 2-year tech school training in industrial maintenance preferred or 3-5 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate major equipment on multiple lines or cells.
• Complete changeovers of equipment.
• Service equipment with lubrication, cleaning, repair or adjustments and identify abnormal repairs.
• Educate other employees on equipment after central maintenance training.
• Maintain production levels and scrap levels as directed by management.
• Organize and complete scheduled PMs.
• General part replacement and rebuild capacity.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Instruct on changeover methods and TPM.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferably with vocational education training in skilled trades or other related discipline;
• 2-4 years of experience machine set-up and processing;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and general computer use
• Must complete New Employee Orientation and Quality Systems Overview training in addition to any training identified by department management.
• Preferred completion of a 2 year Tech School Training in Industrial Maintenance or 3 to 5 years of experience
